A site-specific sculpture for the courtyard of the DOT Headquarters, Visitor’s Center and Auditorium. Using materials that honor the Department of Transportation and the work they do, I constructed a large planting of colorful, kinetic, and reflective flowerlike dots sparkling in the Florida sun, swaying in the tropical breeze.
Materials: 256 Aluminum rods, 512 Reflectors, Sand, Asphalt, Steel signposts.
